Tried installing a student version of AutoCAD for Mac on MacBook Pro but message came up about not supporting APFS? Have read that there is a new Mac Autocad version out today specifically for that and found a download site, but is that version a Student version as such?
Many thanks.

What version of AutoCAD for MAC are you trying to install? If its the 2017 version you need the full installer from here

it was the version downloaded from the Autodesk education site. I selected AutoCAD 2017 for Mac and Mac OSX. installer failed when noticing I am using High Sierra.
Yeah.. Don't use that one. The educational site is not updated for that. That one is still the original release of Acad 2017 for MAC. The link I sent has the new update in it to support the latest OS update for MAC..

So its fine to use that even though I just need a student version. I guess it recognises the differences when entering licence details etc?
@Anonymous
It just software (download).. It doesn't matter if you are trying it out for 30 days, a student or your paid (subscribe) to it. When you enter your serial # and etc that's when it becomes the correct type of license.
