Revit Installation fails - Code 1603

I can't install revit, i was using a trial version and it stopped working and i tried to reinstall it but since then i've got this error, even in the student version. I've done a clean uninstall, tried uninstall every C++ version but if im right the log doesn't indicate that the problem is it, so i don't know what to do and can't format windows now.

Even the Diagnostic Assistant crash... as you can see in the files attached.

Hello @Anonymous,

Usually a python error like this indicates corrupted temp files, please follow the step below:

  1. Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
  2. Reboot the computer, make sure apps are not auto running in the background
  3. Log in as Administrator (check your permissions, full control) or create a new profile
  4. Make sure you have an uninterrupted & high-speed connection to the internet
  5. *Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
  6. Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
  7. Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account or via the AVA | Autodesk Virtual Agent (download all the parts)

I already did all of it(except trying to install in a new user because this way i think i coudn't acess the files from primary user correctly). Forgot to mention that im installing from the "offline" downloader the one which first download the files and then i can install. Downloaded from autodesk downloader manager.

Hello @Anonymous,

If you are using old download files try deleting them & downloading them from your Autodesk Account again.

You may also want to try the Microsoft Account troubleshooter it seems your profile may be restricting access to user folders that the installer needs full control permissions too.

The software needs Administrator rights during installation & at first launch after installation. Also set up the application to run as Administrator.

Microsoft "Run as administrator" and Autodesk software issue ...

Unable to run AutoCAD as a restricted user | AutoCAD | Autodesk ...

How to set a program to run as administrator | Search | Autodesk ...

Local administrator rights and running Autodesk software | AutoCAD ...

Yes I know but I asked for a different one.  Setup log is the overall installation log but I need the actual application install log file.  It has the word install in it.

As I suspected its failing on the new licensing mechanism.   What do you see under this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing\

Go here C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdskLicensingService\AdskLicensingService.data and open that file..  Is it empty?   Or does it not existing..   In either case (empty or not there)...   OPen in notepad and put this statement in
