Revit 2019 no longer available for download and or any of its updates

Hello from 2024, same issue here. We have some ongoing projects that are still in 2019 (some construction projects take a long time to complete) and while setting up the new computer, I have no way of downloading Revit 2019. I understand if Autodesk stops providing updates and hotfixes, but removing access to the software is a bit ridiculous.

HI @cjohnston

Unfortunately, 2020 is the oldest ( 5 versions back) .. as you know.

While I can see your frustration.  Remember to keep all the old they have to make updates for ALL of the Windows updates as needed. 6 versions back is quite a bit to do. So if they kept all the old and W10 update crashes it then?

Lifecycles .. they all have to do it.

You can put in a support ticket to Autodesk and request a license (and updates) for 2019. You might get it for a few months. That's up to your discussions with Autodesk. I've seen it work out.

While older releases are no longer available through the accounts portal, there original download links are still active.  For Revit 2019, the following links are what you will need:

But how will he activate it? If they are on a subscription, 2019 likely won't sign in activate.

I think they need the updates too.

I have 2019 on an older machine and it works fine. We even have users running 2018. Licensing still works, no issues with Windows. We have the old 2014 BDSP on disk drives as well, and those also work fine, though the licensing for those is through a key. The difference is that those are physical copies, which you can't get anymore for the newer versions.

My only concern, if you're on a subscription, is that you're using a version that's not part of it. Just want to make sure that everything is all good and you don't have any issues later.

2020 is the oldest version available for the license.
