Replacing old lic file and upgrading software

I have replaced my Lic file and upgraded the LMTOOLS I dont see any errors in the logs. I now am getting Network License Not Available when starting apps.

You need to give us more information like the error code that is issued.  Just stating its unable to obtain a license means many things.  Share the debug log file that is defined under the config service tab of your LMTOOLS.

Error code the end user is seeing when they try to obtain a license?  You may have to cancel those message a few times in order to see the error code.

I would start >>here<< if not already.  Also make sure your firewall is not blocking ports or add the exception

How can i verify the correct license? I am pretty sure the server is not being blocked as it was running the older version and lic file without issue this morning.

IF you are trying to do this through your Autodesk Account that may explain it..  Others have always had issues.

Here a 2 other ways you can do it..

To generate a license file (pick one)

1.  The contract manager or software coordinator for you subscription can log into their Autodesk Account and select Generate License file link

2.  Go to the Autodesk Register Once Web site and follow the prompts.  With Register Once you have to repeat the process for each network serial # that you have and then combine the license file at the end.

3.  Contact your reseller and they will do it for you.

4.  Contact Autodesk here and they will do it as well.

Hello @Anonymous,

My suggestion since the registeronce.com is not working for you, is to create an Educational Account & select the proper Educational Role (IT Admin) this will allow you to generate a license file in the account within 24-48hrs after creating it.
