operation, video card

Hi Everyone!

I would like to inquire, whether my notebooks are compatible for AutoCad or not.

My notebooks are:

- Dell Latitude E6500

- Dell Vostro 3460

- HP ProBook 4535s

My AutoCad program:

- AutoCAD Civil 3D / FormIt Pro / Revit Live

As far as I know, video card should be compatible and strong enough for designing operations, but I'm not sure, where can I compare them.

If anyone can help me to clarify this issue, I would be really grateful, or whether there is a helpdesk, or someone, who can help me, please let me know!

Thank You so much!

Zsombor

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Well you never told us what video card model you have in these laptops...

You never told us what version of the Autodesk product you will be using.

Dear Mr. Lancaster, Dear Autodesk Community,

The parametres of the notebooks (HP ProBook 4535s is out of work):

Dell Latitude E6500

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz

Memory: 4 GB

Videocard: NVIDIA quadro nvs 160m Memória 256 MB - Specificationhttps://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro_nvs_notebook_techspecs.html

Dell Vostro 3460

Processor: Intel Core i5 2.6 GHz

Memory: 6 GB

Videocard: NVIDIA Geforce GT 630M

I wouldn't use nor recommend using it:

Your video card the NV160M was released: Date of Announcement, 15.08.2008

This a really old and outdated video card. While you might get it to run. But I would bet it's going to have crashing issues with Civil 3D
