i install autocad 2004 in one of my server i do it as follows.
step 1: install the network license manager
step 2: install the network instalation wizard
that 2 of them ok
after that i open LMTOOLS from start -> programs -> autodesk -> network license manager

in LMTOOLS open configure services
there is one option for path to the debung log file. but i did not select that file.
i don't know from where i get this file.
i select imgrd.exe file and license file only
after i go to server status tab and perform status enquiry

"server02 : license server up (MASTER) v8.3"
Vendor Daemon status (on server02)
adskflex: UP v8.3

and i install the autocad 2004 in client computer
after i open autocad it show one license window i put the ipaddress for the autocad server.
after one minut i see the error message like this
"A valid license could not be obtained by the network license manager"
error [1200.5. -96]

The debug log file is a new file that will be created that includes useful
information that can help you track some problems you might have. So just
specify a path and a name for it.

As to your error see this:
