I'm having problems with activate Mudbox 2024 in Windows.
After selecting enter serial number in Let's Get Start windows everything looks good but when click on activate button. A Licensing Error window appears.
I try to uninstall and reinstall don't work. I install on a new computer without any Autodesk software and still don't work. Install with another admin account don't work.
My question are:
Is there a way to manually enter the the serial number into Mudbox?
Is there a way to activate Mudbox without using the Windows GUI?
Is there a way to inject/update a new serial number into Mudbox installation file?

You will need to share a screenshot of that error: no one can guess at the challenge you faced without it.

When click on activate button.
Case #2.
After re-download and re-install the software when click on Select (to enter serial number) Mudbox quit.

Done that but sadly Mudbox 2024 still not work. I believed that Mudbox 2024 contain a new way of license activation for serial number. I have no problem with Maya2024. I also get the same problem when install Mudbox 2024 on a new computer. Thanks for looking into it.
Mudbox won't work, just installed and it will not go pass the licensing options. The program will crash. I have Maya install and can confirm everything should be working, it's Mudbox that's not working.
Thanks for the confirmed that Mudbox 2024 won't work. Here is the command that bring up the "Let's Get Started" windows if Mudbox 2024 crashed on start.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing\Current\helper\AdskLicensingInstHelper.exe" change --pk 498P1 --pv 2024.0.0.F -lm ""
I'm still try to find the command for inject the serial number into Mudbox and also activate it with out click on activate button. I hope somebody fix the activate button soon.
I'm having this exact issue with mudbox 2024. Was a resolution found for the "A license error has occurred" error when trying to activate using a serial number?

Sorry, no solution yet, but I have some ideas but will try to work on it next week or sooner.
On my system; error logs file location is in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdskLicensingService\Logs. Good luck.
