Maya Crashing

I have a MacBook Pro, 10.12.6; Intel Core i7, 16 GB memory; Intel Iris Pro 1536. I just installed Maya 2018. It crashes within seconds whenever I launch. Any suggestions or links to a fix?

 Sorry for the delay, welcome to the forum community. Did it work before & this happened all of a sudden? Is it specific to a file, can you open other files? Please let us know. 

Try these steps: 

1. Reboot the computer 
2. Sign in as Administrator or Create a New User Profile(Admin privileges)
3. Check the Operating System needed & the required updates by reviewing the system requirements for the software & Certified Graphics Card Drivers
4. Make sure you have an updated graphics card driver by checking the manufacturer's website (Assigned the correct Graphics Card) 
5. Temporarily disable your Antivirus software & Firewall
6. Try to reset to defaults
7. Update your product with the latest service pack or Hotfixes by visiting the Autodesk website or account

This was a fresh install. It did not work from the beginning. I will try your steps and see if they work.
