Maya 2018 Licensing error Mac

Hi there,

I'm trying to download Maya 2018 onto my Macbook, but every time I try to input my license key I get the error "Unable to initialize adlm." I've attached a full image of the error window below. 

I've tried uninstalling Maya using this solution, but when I paste the scripts into my terminal it says the files aren't found.

I've also tried this solution, but when I look in the folders the only thing listed is Fusion 360.

I'm running MacOS Sierra Ver. 10.12.6.

Any help is appreciated!
