Maya 2016 not working

Hello, today I just installed Maya 2016 and it installed properly but it is not loading, this is what my screen looks like, it seems to be stuck. Anyone have any advice? I would really appreciate it

You might wanna restart your pc after installaling it bud. Try that, and if that doesnt work, try uninstalling it, and reinstalling it. If that doesnt work then I don't know what to tell you

Well check your documents, and see if maya files exist there. And check your program files under autodesk and see if maya is there. Maybe your installation went wrong, and I believe somewhere they have a fix if things like that happen.

Yes I do have the folder and the files, I had even clicked on repair in the control panel but nothing makes it work

Hello mffcoello, are you still unable to install?, have you found the latest SP 5 package to install....also is this windows 10?....be aware that it is not fully supported yet.

Yes, this is windows 10, and I didn't know I needed the SP 5 to install it, what do I do?

Is yours a student version?, are you able to see SP5 when you go to the download page?

Yes it is a student version, and yes I am just now downloading the SP 5

What do I do? Do I open what I downloaded? (I've never used Maya before so I don't know how to install it)

Download the package and doubble click it to install, it should do the rest and set an Icon on your desktop.

I downloaded the items one by one, that's the only way I could download it. Do I run all of them?

There's only maya 2016 and mental ray 2016, that's all you need.

See if this video can help you.... if you manage to install on windows 10 succesfully then install the SP5 patch.

Well I couldn't get Maya 2016 to work but I did get 2015 to work on my computer. I hope there aren't many differences, thank you for your help! 🙂

Yeah , it's a drag sometimes to get it going, 2015 should be fine, I still use more than 2016....remember later to get the last SP6 that was released.
