I'm running maya 2012 sp1 on a mac pro 8 core 2.26 running os 10.6.4.
Whenever I boot maya up it would give me just a grey screen for the viewport and i can't see anything. So I thought aybe it was the video cards. Updated the Nvidia drivers and still nothing.
So then I updated to 10.6.6 which is the recommended and tested os - now maya just quits on boot -
Well - as it seems the fix was to - re-format the whole machine and do another clean install (which the previous version was literally hours fresh). For some unknown reason it works now.
