log4cplus ERROR

Hello,

After installing Maya 2014, when it started the Output Window popped up right away spitting out the following errors:
log4cplus:ERROR No appenders could be found for logger (AdSyncNamespace).
log4cplus:ERROR Please initialize the log4cplus system properly.

So far Maya seems to be working normally but will this cause problems in the future? What exactly is causing these errors? Anybody know?

I would not expect the message to cause a problem for Maya

What other Autodesk products do you have installed ?

What entries do you have in the windows registry

HKLM/SOFTWARE/Autodesk/UPI

I have AutoCAD 2014, 3ds Max 2014, and Maya 2014 installed.

Contents of HKLM/SOFTWARE/Autodesk/UPI:

The 1st entry: bin/UPI/UPI.dll you can delete, it doesn't hurt but doesn't exist

For the others one by one modify the UPI.dll to UPI-hide.dll then start Maya see for which entry(s)
the messages don't appear

Return the entries to their original values

Deleted bin/UPI/UPI.dll entry.

I edited them as you said and started Maya up each time, every time the output console would pop up and throw the errors posted in the original post.

it may actually be the xml entry, the Key, not the Value
this xml file is used to find the UPI info for a product, which may attempt to load an executable/shared library.

Uninstalling the AutoDesk 360 is making saving from AutoCAd 2014 very slow. a dwg with only 1 line in it takes suddenly 5-10 min to save to lokal C: drive. That was not expected. Any Thougt on this problem. Uninstalled AutoDesk 360 using msiexec.

Hi. I'm having the same issue with log4cplus. Is there a way to remove this error without uninstalling Autodesk 360 ?
