License checkout timed out

This has become a reocurring nightmare. This is my third go around with this problem. Both times before I downloaded, unzipped, unblocked Adsklicensing-installer.exe and it fixed the problem.  This time, I can't even get this installer to run! I've deleted previous versions, reinstalled and even restarted my computer but can't get it working.  Anyone have a clue as to why this is a reocurring problem.

Are you running the installer;

1. in an account with local admin permission
2. from your account using 'run as admin'.

I found the 2 didn't work, for me the installer didn't launch. Logging into the admin account and running it in there worked fine.

Make sure you have the Hotfix installed

Make sure you have the latest Autodesk Desktop App and that that's working too.

Try setting your Services to Delayed start and see if that works ...

Went throught the list again and found option two worked...for now.  But I'm thinking Norton is causing the issue. Any thoughts?

didn't work had to uninstall and reinstall adsk licensing with Norton turned off.
