Keeping my preferences (toolbars, layout of toolbars and windows, plot files, etc) when installing newer version. I go thru this every time and it is a pain to set up and takes at least 1/2 a day or longer. That's why I only do this every 3 years or so.

What software and versions are you go to and from?

(Also don't delete anything till you're 100% sure everything is there with the new install)

I'd wait... I believe there is a migration issue with 2020 and not saving them.

You could do it manually ...but as you said it'll take some time.

If I was able to save all my settings, how would I do it ?

(I've never been able to migrate all my settings in over 21 years of using AutoCAD).
