Installing Trial version Failed.

L.S.

I Installed a trial version 2025, all went well until I started Inventor.

I got this error "Inventor cannot access your license."

I updated Autodesk Access.

Could someone help me with this?

Well, please think about this!
I downloaded the installer and installed Autodesk Inventor, whch downloads the Installation files from the Autodesk Server.
So, Yes I do have an active Internet connection.
Sorry for being cynical, but common.....
Thx for your response..

Hey Alexander,

I did as you told, but I got the same result.

And yes, I did restart the computer after updating AdskLicensing-installer and the Autodesk Inventor 2025 2.1 update.

I find it strange, that it cannot access my Licens when I dont even have one!

That's why I downloaded the Trail version.

Thanks for the help tho.

Hi! Did you install a trial version before? A given product trial is tied to the machine ID. If it has been attempted before, the trial license will not be available.

Many thanks!

Hey Johnson,
I bought myself a new laptop and my Inventor from work was on another laptop wich died on me!
And since I dont work there anymore, I can't get access to my work account.
This really got me stunned, to say the least. As to why it has to be so difficult! 😉
Thx for your Response

Hi Ron,

I am sorry that the trial experience does not seem to be optimal. Are you having trouble installing Inventor on the new laptop? Please make sure all critical Windows updates are installed and the graphics driver is updated.

Many thanks!

Hi!

Did you use the same email login previously, when you had the right to use the software?

Anyway:

When installing software and updates, did you turn off the anti-virus (exception if it is Windows Defender... no need to) and turn the User Account Control to the minimum level?

@3DHDRon

Try running the following tool:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/tsarticles/ts/6IFPpIksTDfsCzp1JwIH5k.html

Go to the Connection tab.. is anything blocked.

It's likely seeing you have a subscription and not letting you run the trial ... it's likely trying to license it..

Hi there,

I tried all of the suggestions that you all gave me.

And I ended up restoring my laptop to a week ago, to get all the Autodesk soft. of it!

I might have used my e-mail before for a account.

I didnt think it would be a problem, but I'm going to try to create a new account with a diff. e-mail.

Many thanks to all of you for trying to help me out!

With kind regards,

Ron...
