Installing ReCap & ReCap Pro with ReCap Photo

Hello I&L Community,

I just would like to provide information on how to install ReCap or ReCap Pro successfully.

When you install ReCap it will automatically install ReCap & ReCap Photo, when you sign-in & activate with a ReCap Pro serial number it will validate the access to ReCap Pro features.

Application Accessibility 

• Some Industry Collections include Recap Pro
• Autodesk offers a 30day trial of Recap Pro
• Recap is accessible to all users it is a free application 

Note:

• Only if you are the assigned user (single user) to ReCap Pro will you receive the Industry Collection benefit that comes with the subscription, for multi-user you can restrict usage by using a options file.
• ReCap Photo is a ReCap Pro add-in 

1. After installing, a 30day free Trial will automatically begin, unless an assigned user has access to ReCap Pro & signs-in or a network license is present for the user.

2. If you wish to activate a ReCap Pro license the assigned user with access to ReCap Pro will have to enter the Serial Number & Product key to activate. 

If you have a multi-user(network) license they will pull the license & sign-in 

3. Select "Activate". 

 

4. Select " Enter a Serial Number".  

 Note: Also, apply all the Updates indicated in the above screenshot under "Update Available" drop down.

 For Recap Pro Updates: 

Recap Pro Update V3.0.2.12 & Recap Pro Update v4.2.0.2 (new full install)

For Recap Photo when you launch indicates a prompt message, apply the updates in the following order: 

1.Autodesk ReCap Photo Update v18.1.0.18 for v18.0.0.56

2.Autodesk ReCap Photo Update v18.2.0.8 for v18.1.0.18
