options file, network license, industry collection
Hello All,
We have had some questions on the forum regarding Industry Collection product & how these licenses function. I would like to provide the information we have collected.
Industry Collection Licensing
Basic Function
Industry Collection licenses are meant to stand on their own in that they provide a package of Autodesk products for a single user, they are user specific & provide a collection of products with various versions(current & 3 versions back) for the assigned user/users to access.
A deployment cannot be created from a collection installer, each individual product requires a deployment & be activated as a collection with an internet connection.
Only an assigned user/users have access to the license collection of products & the products cannot be split/divided within the collection.
Usage
Single User License
Industry Collections with a single user license, are one single assigned user, consuming one license for the entire Industry Collection. Products can not be shared with other users, but it can be installed on more than one computer.
Multi-User License
Industry Collections can be combined with other Autodesk network licenses on one license file. To use a collection license with multiple users, a multi-user license would have to be purchased with the proper amount of seats for your organization & 1 user/seat can access the collection at a time and only 2 products can be used by the user at a time on the same computer.
Controlling License usage with Industry Collections, Suites & Point Products
