installing problems on XP

hi, having dramas installing autocad 2014 free version onto my computer, Windows XP, 32 bit, i keep on getting a message  saying .... webinstall.exe is not a valid Win32 application,  when i try to run the installer, any help will be appreciated

Have you checked you have the 32 or 64 Bit installer?

Try downloading the software from the Autodesk Virtual Agent... http://autodesk.creativevirtual15.com/autodesk/bot.html?isJSEnabled=1&businessArea=Root.Front%20Desk&startContext=Root.Front%20Desk

Hi mate, i tried both 32 and 64 bit installer options, neither seemed to work, i have a 32bit system, bit confusing at the moment!

If you have 32 Bit then you need to install 32 Bit AutoCAD. I'd suggest deleting everytrhing you have downloaded previously and redownloading the 32 Bit installer from Autodesk Virtual Agent. Keep my posted as to how this goes.

Can you also upload a log from the installer attempt from %temp%

Hi there

I'm looking for an old version of Autocad 2004, I'm a teacher but seems like only 20014/5/6 versions are available...is it true?

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to Autodesk Community!

Yes it's true. For educational license only the latest versions (2016/2015/2014) are available. Also we no longer have any 2004 version of software. Therefore we encourage you to download the recent versions.
