Installing AutoCAD LT for Mac crash

I have a Mac mini that was running AutoCAD LT just fine until a few days ago.  When I became aware of the problem, I would click the icon in the dock and, it would just bounce for a bit, and never start.  It didn't freeze.  It just never started.  My user did download an AutoCAD LT update a few days ago, but thinks it worked OK after that.  The OS is 10.11.

After uninstalling the software, make sure you delete the Autodesk directory in Library/Application Support

I did go through the whole thing with deleting extra folders and files: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticle.... In particular, at one point I did delete Library/Application Support/Autodesk. I did not delete the FLEXnet Publisher folder as there is Adobe Flash Player on the system. Not sure that Flash Player counts, but I didn't think that the Flexnet Publisher folder had anything to do with AutoCAD in it. (Two folders called 11.12.0 and 11.12.1, both of which contained a file named FNPLicensingService.) Please tell me if I'm wrong. I also did not exclude Flexnet Publisher from backups as 1.) I'm not aware that it is being restored at all and 2.) I'm not sure that we are running in Stand Alone mode. If I have a subscription (I do), could it be stand alone? Or is "not-stand alone" when the application resides on the network and the computer is a client? Is one of those steps likely to be the problem or is there some other step I need to take to reset the computer?

After speaking with someone from Autodesk, this problem was resolved by reinstalling the operating system.  This allowed us to then reinstall AutoCAD and everything worked as it should.  Thanks for the help.  Hope this helps.
