I prevously had revit 2023 but it was installed on a different hard drive which I don't have anymore. Now when I try to intall it on the computer inself it says that it is already in there even if it has already been deleted.

I recommend conducting a Clean Uninstall of the previous installation on the system & use the Microsoft Troubleshooter Tool to complete it. The installer is likely picking up the residual files and registry information from the previous installation.
