Hi everyone,
about three days ago I've tried to install Autocad 2014 with student license on my HP with Windows 7 Home Premium and when i put a click on start installation the setup quit and no error or report are showed. In this three days I've tried everything!! I've uninstalled all Autodesk propgram older version, the antivirus, do a clean uninstall of every autedsk product, but nothing have worked! then i try to reinstall the 2013 version but even this as the same issue!!! It' s so frustranting, I've serched but nothing can help me, i hope you can (and sorry for my bad english)
There are not too many things that cause our installs to quit outright. There is one known software incompatibility with a software called "Displaylink Core Software" that can cause the behavior you are seeing. Can you check to see if you have that installed?
Hello. If AutoCAD is the only program you are having an issue with, there should be no need to uninstall ALL other Autodesk products. If the others are working, focus on AutoCAD.
In addition to “Displaylinkcore”, update your graphics card drivers. They do crash installers, definitely.
