If the serial # starts with 900 or 901 it is an education/student license but to confirm just go into your Autodesk Account and it will tell you if its educational or not.

from a friend wich worked with autocad at his job

Your friend can't give you a company asset or company software to you.  Was a transfer of ownership done through Autodesk?   Not following these things could lead to you and his company being fined by Autodesk?  Do you want to take that risk?

the company was closed some years ago

we are going to do an transfer of the ownership

but first i need to know if this is an commercial or an educational version

If the company closed years ago then lawyers have to be involved for the transfer of ownership.    In addition if that serial # was used to upgrade, then this serial # is no longer active and can't be transferred..

Most likely it is a commercial license but do you want to go through all this for such a old version.   Where are you going to install this?   It doesn't work properly under Windows 10 and even if you get installed, past history has already demonstrated when Win 10 updates it takes these legacy versions down. 

Seems a lot of work just to save on money..   But that's your right if you want to do that.   In the end we don't know anything about this serial # and its history.   We are only users here.
