Hi,
I can't uninstall Maya. I got error 20 (corrupted license) and I tried to uninstall it via the control panel to fix it, but instead it disappeared from the control panel, like it wasn't installed at all? It's still there though, and when I try to reinstall Maya it says it's already installed.
Is there an uninstall file that I can use, like with other programs? Like an .exe that uninstalls so I can get past this and fix my other problem?
I just tried the steps mentioned in the articles mentioned by the bot, and they didn't work.
I wound up uninstalling with IOBit uninstaller, which got rid of the program for me, but when I try to reinstall it says that Maya is still installed and won't let me go any further ("install" is literally greyed out).
Hi @Anonymous,
Welcome to the Community.
Are you on Windows 10? IOBit uninstaller usually helps with this error in Windows 10. However, if the issue persists and still indicates that the program is already installed, if you don't have any other Autodesk products installed, try to check and manually remove the related folders if they're still there. Check out steps 3 to 5 from here: Performing a Clean Uninstall.
Let us know how it goes. Thank you,
Hello @Anonymous
Make sure you use POWERFUL SCAN when you use Uninstaller. The will remove the registry keys that causes this sort of issue.
