We have a new licensing server with a new installation of NLM version 11.12.1.4. I registered a new serial number for an Autodesk suite and received a new license file which was added to NLM. I followed the Autodesk steps to configure the NLM. When I run server enquiry, there is an error message: FlexNet Licensing error:-97,121.
After reading similar posts, I reread the license file, disabled antivirus, and made sure that correct lmgrd is selected.
How do I fix this issue?

Autodesk doesn't use the Server Diags tab on Flex LM i wouldn't rely on it
try running status inquiry on the Server Status tab do you see any errors there?

The first part of the post is an actual copy of the server inquiry log. There are two error messages:
adskflex: The desired vendor daemon is down.
FlexNet Licensing error:-97,121

This error indicates that MAC address in the network license file doesn’t match with the Ethernet address of the license server network interface card.
can you confirm that the MAC address matches?

The MAC address of the NIC is matching the Ethernet Address in LMTOOLS and license file received from Autodesk. The server is a virtual machine but I double checked the NIC setup to make sure the MAC is correct.

Thanks for getting back to me. I've added 27001 to the license file, stopped the server, reread the license file, ran server enquiry - same error message.
The issue was an application/service EZProxy that runs on the same licensing server. After disabling that service, FlexNet had no errors.
In conclusion, we have to use our old licensing server to run Autodesk since EZProxy cannot be moved anywhere.
