You'll need to wait until your current one expire then you'll be able to request another serial number.
EDIT: You may be able to request a serial number again, which may extend the expiration date. <-- That's may or may not work, but it's worth a try.

How to Extend Student Software
Educational software includes the current version and 3 versions back.
Educational Software is offered for a term of 3 years.
You can not re-activate a previously used version when the version expires you must download another version listed in the Education Community if you are still an eligible student.
