Error 1606 when uninstalling Autocad Civil 3D

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've uninstalled all Autodesk apps in windows 10.

The last is AutoCad Civil 3D.

this will not uninstall with followin error message:

Error 1606. Could not acces network location 0.

Since I had no clue what to do, I searched a bit.

The solution is to be found in the registry.

But then again, my knowledge is unsufficient to be messing about in the registry.

I have included screenshots for if anyone is able to help me out.

The idea is to reinstall Civil 3D since it was not installed correctly.

Kind regards,

Steven

Hello belgikaans082466 and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you're seeing Error 1606 while trying to install an Autodesk product. This issue occurs because the installer tries to place files into another user's profile where you do not have write access. The following article(s) should help you resolve the problem:

"Error 1606: Could not access network location" when using "Run as" option to install

Alas,

I'm working under the admin account. I can reach the folders mentioned in the earlier post.

I've tried to reinstall Civil 3D. Again installation failed. I've uploaded the logfiles and screenshot of the installation sumary.

The logfile is a bit 'vague' as to the reason why installation failed.

Kind regards,

Steven

Your download is failing..   Just review the verbiage below the line/above my signature and follow those steps to download and install your application.
