Hi,

I have an education license and I've just downloaded the 3DS MAX from the main page. I installed all 4 packs of 2GB and had them self-extract in local disk C:

as it was suggested. After it finished i got the "Installation successful" sign but I can't manage to find the icon or the application anywhere to launch. I even tried searching for it in the search menu but with no luck.  Seems weird and i can't find any solution 😞

Hi @Anonymous

Try open it from the Desktop App. Seach for 'Autodesk Desktop App' and open it.

There, you can see all your Autodesk products and can open the one you want.

I can't even locate the desktop app. Searched for it in the taskbar, can't
find it.

Thank you for your help thus far, but nothing is working at all ! I downloaded it and it says initializing but nothing opens and the file is nowhere to be found. I have an m.2 ssd and HDD plugged in my desktop so i don't know if this could be causing an issue, like perhaps it's unable to locate the file , but at the same time all the app files seem to be present in Local Disk C , as they should. I'm confused !
