Civil3D 2018 Compatibility issue

I downloaded Civil3D which is fine but I need it to work with Infracad. I put in my license keys for infracad and they are valid, but when I startup Civil3D I get an error message stating that the license keys only work with a student version of C3D. I am quite certain that I have the student version installed, how can I check and or download the student version if I don't have that installed? also if I do have the student version installed, is there a way to fix my issue?

Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

in civil 3d in the top right corner there is your name click that & choose manage license

this will tell whether your using a student license or not

but this sounds like a infracad problem

do you mean infraworks?

yes no problem, its in dutch though... it says :

"standalone license:

this InfraCAD license only functions on a "student version" of AutoCAD"
