Hi,
I have been trying to install Autodesk Inventor 2017 student edition on my laptop, and whenever I try to install it, the installer gives me an Error 1723, saying there's a DLL missing, then it stops the installation process completely. I've tried almost everything I could find--uninstalling and installing, changing the installation directory (and even giving myself permissions), redownloading the C++ package, and even running "sfc.exe /scannow" from an elevated command prompt in hopes of finding any issues.
Can someone please help me with this problem? I can't seem to find a solution, and have been trying to get Inventor to work for around 3 weeks now.

Hi @Anonymous,
Welcome to the Community.
Have you temporarily disabled your anti-virus prior to installation? Also, check out the suggested solutions here and see if any of them will work out for you:
Error 1723: A DLL required for the install to complete cannot be found
A DLL required for the install to complete cannot be run
I hope this helps, let us know how it goes. Thanks.

Did you try using the Virtual Agent as provided by @Otto? That will most likely resolve the issue as everything is downloaded before the installation.
Also, please provide the installation log file found in the %temp% location

Alright, so I tried the suggested solutions, but unfortunately I still get an error upon running the installer. However, I did find out that my "Programs and Features" list says Inventor is technically installed, but uninstalling it from there gives me an error, saying that the application couldn't start because there is a DLL missing from my computer.
Also, here is a pastebin of my most recent installation attempt, which returned an error: http://pastebin.com/2JufGmeH
Hope this helps,
