Can't install 3DS Max - installation restarts computer and restarts installation

I am using Windows 8.1. I have tried installing using "install now" and using the browser download. I tried the browser download with my firewall off, I left the browser open uninterruped through the entire process, but once the install starts, my computer restarts. When my computer finishes restarting, the installer goes back to the beginning. I have looked all over Google and have not found a single helpful answer. Please help me so that I can use 3DS Max.

Hello stitch7272 and welcome to the Autodesk community!

It looks like you need to find out more about downloading or re-downloading software, or are having issues that may be resolved by re-downloading.

For Windows users, before downloading products on Windows 10, please check that the product is compatible.

Oftentimes installation and/or download issues can be addressed by using a different download method, or by downloading directly from the Autodesk Virtual Agent. Community members with similar issues found the following article(s) useful:

I am still having this issue. I have tried running in admin mode as well. Still restarts my computer and restarts installation process.
