Autodesk Education Download Page vs Autodesk - Account Installation Page

What's the difference between these two? sometimes I get a licensed software and sometimes an educational watermark is included in every software use, I mix install on both the said page.

Hi @hectoregala,

In addition to what Darren has already said, another difference is that http://manage.autodesk.com/ only contains products you have requested from https://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/featured and so is more personal to you as it will contain far fewer products.

If allowed, can I ask something here that relates to what I'm really asking?

I'm really confused as to why my installed Revit 2021 and AutoCAD 2021 have different indicators on the title bar, that's why I asked previously to the two websites because I thought maybe that's the reason behind the issue.

AutoCAD has no Education Watermark as well as in the title bar

Revit has student version written on the title bar

Was that really intentional? 

Any tips and suggestions would be gladly appreciated.

I don't have anything concrete but from my experience it has varied from app to app.

Fusion 360, Revit 2019 and AutoCAD show as Student Versions in the title bar

Inventor Professional, VRED Professional do not have any educational recognition on the title bar.

It seems it differs from version to version but ultimately it is the license that determines the use regardless of the title bar - the best way to check is click on your username on the top right corner and select manage license which will show your license type
