Autodesk CER Service 7.0.3

I can see in Autodesk Access Autodesk CER Service has updated to 7.0.3.  Is there any more information on this and why it should be updated?  I don't like to install this on 150 computer unless there is a good reason.  There isn't much actual detail here to make a decision.

The release notes has even less information. 7.0.3_release_note.pdf (autodesk.com)

Since it is not a REQUIRED update, there is no good reason. So you are not obliged to do anything my friend.

Do you typically like to install and allow CERs on your PC or laptop to freely use your bandwidth without permission every single time? It's not there to fix anything you will trigger as a crash, or tell you why you crashed for example.

Just wondering.

Thats the thing - if I have a stable system I don't want to risk an update.  If I had more information about what this was going to do for me instead of vague promises, that would help with deciding to install it.

I was curious too about that 'Number of new features and improvements' so I created a service request and this is the response:

Please go through the following features

Reduced the time taken to generate and send error reports.

User Interface Enhancements:

Streamlined and more intuitive user interface for submitting error reports.
Added clearer instructions and feedback during the error reporting process to guide users.

Security Enhancements:

Improved security features to ensure that error reports are transmitted securely.

I don't know why they didn't post this information in the release notes.  I have often had questions about software updates.  Thanks.
