We are on an isolated system.
we have installed AutoCAD 2022, with a network license, and it went well.
last week we decided to upgrade to AutoCAD 2024.
We downloaded the installer offline and everything wen well, except one computer.
We get error 15 when installing. It roles back after 3%.
I am installing with admin rights.
I am attaching a log file.
Pls advise on what course of action to take.
Thank u
Assuming you’ve instayall the windows updates recommended, shutdown before restarting perhaps try installing using the default admin account. If disabled enable it
https://www.ionos.com/digitalguide/server/configuration/enable-administrator-account-windows-10/
Thank u for the advise.
I just did that and the same outcome.
Error 15.
On about 110 computers everything works fine and the installation went like a charm.
That one computer hangs, and I have no idea what to do.
Time to clone one if the good ones and deploy on the bad one
Thank u for the idea, but this is no an option.
I have installed AutoCAD 2022, and no problems. So the problems are contained to ver 2024.
In the meantime the guy will work on 2022 till we will sort this out.
have you try to switch off the anti virus program and see if helps? and install again.

Is this a school environment?
The log file is riddled with warnings and errors, the most frequent being:
[Autodesk_AutoCAD_Core WARN] [ Autodesk::DDAUtils::FileSystemUtil::RemoveWithStatus ] Path to remove does not exist C:\AutoCAD 2024\ .....
Installation pretty much fails right away and then tries to roll back but it seems the folder holding the installation files is already removed - hence the error messages.
