Hello Everyone,
A few hours ago, I unistalled Autocad 2018 Educational Version with Autodesk Uninstall Tool.
And than requested for Autocad 2022 Educational License and Downloaded the Setup file.
And after downloading it in E-Drive, and running the Setup, I get the Below error...
Whereas I don't see Autocad 2022 Installed anywhere on my Laptop. What should I do about this.
Any help on this..??
Search results of my Laptop..
Run the Microsoft FixIt tool.
Then try again...
I would also recommend downloading a new full installer ...
Hello @rushabhthakkar_910 ,
@mdavis22569 is correct - for this error we suggest following the AKN article here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Produc.... The first step is to run the Microsoft FixIt tool.
Please follow the instructions on that article and let us know how it goes!
Amanda
Thank You @amanda.k and @mdavis22569 for your replies..
After using the Microsoft FixIt tool, the installation began. Which relieved me for a while..
But than this error came after installation was almost completed by 90-95%..
Hi
Take a look at the following
Thanks a lot @mdavis22569 for your responses.. I really appreciate it.
But my only worry is I do not uninstall any Application that is not intended too.. So can you have a look at this Screencast Video..?
(https://autode.sk/3IObGiN) And help me with what all I have to Uninstall with the Microsoft FixIt tool..?
@mdavis22569 and @amanda.k,
Do I have to uninstall..? I mean after installing and running it, if it were supposed to be uninstalled, why did I install it..?
I mean is this the correct procedure..? Cause I am currently on the Red Arrow marked step in the below Image. And should I proceed ahead with Uninstalling Single Sign-On..?
You're not uninstalling all of the program ... just that one part of the installation.
I would look at the how do I fix this ...
From there:
Clean out the %temp% folder
Download and install these 2 things first:
Autodesk Licensing Service -win-11.1.0.5629 installer file.
We also want this update:
Autodesk Single Sign On Component 2020.1:
https://up.autodesk.com/2020/ADSSO/A97BF60C-1A84-42CF-865F-FADC3E0E8DBA/AdSSO.msi
Download this installer:
Make sure your anti-virus is off...
And should I delete the Setups that I downloaded...
And download a new one from the link you share..
Actually this is my worst fear while using any Engineering software that it won't install.. and nothing like this has happened with me in any other Autodesk Product.
So this is a bit new for me. So I hope you understand if i might ask some silly questions.. 😅
Yes .. everything I shared .. I'd like to try
Again the same error has come.
But this time I don't know why after reaching 90-92%, the installation suddenly started falling instead of increasing..
i.e the figure started moving from 92 and dropped to 69% before the error appeared.. 🤷

Do you have Admin rights on this PC?
Also, any other Autodesk Software installed?
Can you tell me more about your PC?
OS / Ram / CPU / GPU?
The System is my Personal Laptop. So you can say that I have the Admin rights..
And it is a Core i5 8th Generation, 8GB Ram, 1TB HDD Storage, 2GB Nvidia Graphics card Laptop.
And there are other Autodesk Softwares installed i.e Fusion 360, Inventor, Maya, VRED.
And a few days back I had AutoCAD 2018 too which I uninstalled and tried Installing 2022 when the error came..
