autocad 2021 slow startup - stuck at "preparing working environment... Adcenter"

Hi Autocad LT 2021 is very slow to start up and stuck when the status bar says "preparing working environment... Adcenter"

any suggestions what causes this?

Did you restart your computer yet?

Yes restarting doesnt make a difference. I think it was always slow since I installed 2021 (takes about 5 min to load) but I have 2020 or 2019 versions on the same computer and they start up in no time.

Or a reinstall?

No issues at all here with R2021 on my old laptop that also has R2019 on it, but I did not migrate anything from the old version, I reload my customizations cleanly for new versions.

I did a few updates to autocad and also re-installed the programme but it still hangs at "preparing working environment ADCENTER" for maybe 10 -15 minutes. once its running and you close the programme, when you run it a 2nd time it starts up fast. so its still an issue and dont know how to solve it. (have windows 10)
