After having a series of viruses and having to upgrade some older XP mcahines to Vista or 7, we are having some difficulty activating Autocad 2009 LT. We have deligently kept records of which licenses have been installed on which machines, but this is not helping us, as we get 'Autocad 2009 LT License Not Valid' message when we try to active on updated machines.
The licenses are part of a 5 seat standalone license pack, which are not upgrades. This seems strange as some of our other machines with Autocad 2009 LT (different license key) have been activated.
We are not willing to upgrade our older machines to Autocad 2014 LT, but as we retire them we do purchase the newer versions of Autocad. This have left us with 3-4 machines running Autocad 2009 LT licenses. We have a copy of the activation code and boxed product/ license key for when autocad was originally installed on this machine
Can you advise how we can rectify this?
Hi lloydiet,
Welcome to Autodesk Forum Community. Based on the description, it is recommended for you to manually activate by contacting Autodesk Registration: - http://knowledge.autodesk.com/contactus
1. Select Activation and Registration
2. Activating a Product
3. Activation Codes and Request Codes or Online Activation Errors
4. Click on "I still need help"
5. Click on "Ask for Assistance"
** Select Registration or Activation of a Product, under [What type of License Assistance do you need] drop-down box, fill in your details and type your request under Anything else you want to tell us box.
Thank you.
