Annoying background flicker when deselecting object or moving objects.

Hello,

So recently i upgraded to Windows 8 and it works fine. But when i used Maya for the first time the first thing that i noticed was a annoying flicker that occured when deselecting a object.

This is what it looks like:



Please help, this is really distracting for me.

with all respect: what should i see on this image? hard to see a flicker on a screenshot which shows a usual maya viewport!

anyway i dont know win 8 but i would bet on somthing like aero problems with win 7. try to disable this if possible or play with your display driver settings.
