I've seen the argument that this is because most users will not use all of the software. But this was the same with the Infrastructure Design Suite. With that you could create a single deployment and choose which to install while doing the installation. I also suggested and alternative where different deployments could be created containing only 5, 10 or 15 pieces of software depending on the users needs.
