Activation problem AutoCAD

Hello community,

I am not able to activate AutoCAD 2019 by using the serial number because our companies security meassures do not allow scripting to be activated in IE. Is there any alternative way of activating the software? You state online, that the offline activation is only possible up to version 2016. 2019 Does not have this possibility?

Thanks for your responses!

Hi Jayhar,
thanks for your quick response.
Unfortunately we do have an annual subscription license which makes the guide on how to activate offline worthless for us because it is not possible, as stated in the ink you provided.
Our problem is, that the software wants to use Internet Explorers Scripting capabilities although our company guidelines don't allow that. We want to find a solution that makes it possible for us to provide the software without having to go through a hassle every time we want to install the program.
Is there any way to activate w/o having to use IE's scripting?
Best wishes
Ben

Welcome to the Autodesk User's Community..

Is this subscription based AutoCAD 2019 or a carried over perpetual license?  If subscription based you must have internet connection every 30 days.  In addition there's a problem with your attachment and unable to view.  Just use the photo tool above and directly attach your image to your posting.  However make sure there's no sensitive info in your image such as your serial #.

Hello Mark,

the package we bought is subscription based. Is there absolutely no way to activate offline? Or is there an alternative to do it online w/o having to activate scripting in Internet Explorer?

You can find the screenshot below. It says that an error occured in the script that was executed.

Thanks in advance!

@Mark.Lancaster

thank you very much!

Editing the text in the Target text box of the shortcut worked fine for me.

We want to deploy the software on a larger scale. Therefore we would really like the software to be installable via SCCM without having to adjust the shortcut afterwards. Is there any way we can do that?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Anonymous

After the successful creation of an Autodesk deployment you can find tailored SCCM scripts for your system and network located here:

{deployment name}\SMS_SCCM scripts\

When you create a Deployment you have the option to create custom icons. This custom shortcut will be included with the generated SCCM scripts.
