Activation Code not working...

Hello,

Wondering if anyone can help? I have tried to find a phone number to call to ask my simple question, but can't seem to find one so please accept my apologies if this does not apply to anyone else..

I have an older version of AutoCAD LT (2008) and it has been successfully installed on my laptop since 2010, but that laptop finally bit the dust and I have a new one now that I am in the process of putting all my software  programs back on it. I have the original disk, serial number, and activation code (from 2007), but when prompted it would not take the old activation code and so I was sent a new one via email. I entered this one and it worked! However the next time I tried to open the program it told me I only had 3 days left on my trial version and would need an activation code! I input the one I was sent again but it keeps telling me that there is a problem with the activation code I entered... I have tried copying and pasting it in, typing it in, typing zero's (0) and typing oh's (O) as I think they are zeros but cannot be sure.. every time I get the same message.

Could someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong? Since it worked the very first time I used it on this computer, but not since

Thank you very much.

There is no one to call with your out of support old software: If you have the most current then... Autodesk Support is explained here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/subscription-management/support-o...

Activation codes are per original install, you can't use it again. You need to activate 2010 (or 2008, or 2007, or whatever it is you want to use) the built-in way online as you start the program.

Have you tried this method to activate your software? It's another option, start here http://autode.sk/activation

Hello @Anonymous,

I understand you have a new computer and are try to activate AutoCAD LT 2008. I would check this knowledge article for manual activation

If, that method does not work then try online activation (make sure you have an internet connection)

If after 30 days of running AutoCAD LT in trial mode you have not registered and provided a valid activation code, your only option is to register and activate AutoCADLT. You will not be able to run in trial mode after the 30 days expires. Once you register and activate AutoCAD LT, the Product License Activation wizard is no longer displayed.

The fastest and most reliable way to register and activate your product is by using the Internet. Simply enter your registration information and send it to Autodesk over the Internet. Once you submit your information, registration and activation occur quickly.
