3DS Max Won't Boot Up - License Error

Hi, I just downloaded 3DS Max 2021 using a student License. I had previously downloaded the 2019 version, but I noticed it had problems booting up (it would let me input the license information, but then it would crash the moment after the program actually opened up), so I downloaded the most recent version instead. Now the problems seem to have become worse. The moment I open up the program I get this License error, and it crashes. I have updated, uninstalled and redownloaded all of my autodesk license-related software but none of it seems to work. I think there might be some sort of corrupted leftover file I haven't deleted yet from previous installations, but I'm not sure about that.  The error reads: "There is a problem with the software license. The program cannot continue." Below you can see all of the software I checked and updated. The License Installer doesn't boot up at all either.

I've tried deleting cache files, log files, I even attempted to delete every single autodesk file in my computer and re-installing everything clean/from scratch. I even swept my entire AppData folder clean of any Autodesk files before attempting that one. The error persists anyway.

Yep, I have, didn't help. Those instructions are pretty broad and generic and don't seem to work in my case. How can I check if my license is the right type when the program never even reaches the point where it asks me? And the license manager and its installer are not even opening up for me at all, even though I downloaded the most recent versions two or three times to make sure.

I tried deleting the License Service folder found in All Users\Autodesk\, and it did indeed let me reinstall the License Service, yet the error is still there. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to do a clean uninstall and reinstall, again. For a fourth time. Maybe I'll get it right at some point...

autodesk-licensing-certificate-installer.msi - what is this file? Where did you get it from?

Does your Autodesk Desktop App work? Does it allow you to sign in?

Run the Autodesk Desktop Licensing Service Update with Windows admin rights. To check that it has installed correctly, go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing and see if you have a folder in there called 11.0.0.4854.

Additionally, there is another article linked within the one I posted - have you checked that one out?

My Autodesk Desktop App does work, yes. I didn't personally see anything there that helped me.

The folder is right there too.

I have checked out that article as well and I didn't find anything that worked for me. I might just attempt to perform a clean uninstall and reinstall for everything, as I already mentioned.  The .msi file was from here: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/downloads/content/autodesk-licensing-service-downl...

I'm having similar issues since installing this update.

It prompts me every time I open 3ds max 2021.3 to Activate the product. I activate it then it opens. Shut down max and open again then I have to activate again.

It also is telling me I have 12 days left to activate the product?

The update was installed in the correct folder.

I also tried to discover when the license needs to be renewed but I have not been able to find this information in the account settings?

Hi, I no longer get this error. I personally managed to fix this by simply performing a clean uninstall and reinstalling everythin again. Now I unfortunately have the problem I had before: the program does indeed open up, it loads a bit, and then crashes before its finished loading. But as far as licensing issues go, those seem to be solved.

Hi, I have the same issue but a clean uninstall hasn't worked for me. Both revit and 3DS have this error. I've tried everything from updating the license manager to turning off my firewall. Any ideas anyone?
