3ds Max 2016 compatible with windows 10?

I have been trying to install 3ds Max 2016 on my computer but it never ends up working.

I have tried multiple things and it always fails.

Is it because my OS is Windows 10? I have been tryign to install it for a couple days and I have had no luck. Its really annoying because I want to learn how to do this.

Windows 10 is not officially supported at the moment, but Autodesk is already working on testing our products on Windows 10. Please keep this link and check it regularly for updates about it: Windows 10 support for Autodesk products.

Yes it works in windows 10, I have windows 10 Pro and it install 3ds max with out no problem, but down the road 3ds max start to act funny, like when you use a polygon to make a shape it might draw it not on top of the image reference but someplace on top or way big etc... but it does work with windows 10.

Can you tell me which installation method you used? I've tried all of the available methods. It tells me that 3ds Max 2016 is installed but, there is no way I've found to launch it. The computer is a newly built system with all high quality components. Thanks for any suggestions or discussions about this dilemma.

It is frustrating trying to download and install this program for some reason. But, eventually, I got it to work after doing a complete reinstall of Windows 10. I know this is a lot of work, unfortunately, it was the only solution I could find. Once you get the program downloaded and installed you can also do the tutorials for 3ds Max Design 2016 by downloading and installing the tutorial files. That is what made it worth it to me to go through all the hassle. Good Luck!
