Use AutoCad 2018 without signing in (deployment)

Hello! I am trying to create an AutoCad 2018 deployment for ~100 users that requires little to no input from the user. The best way to do this seems to be deploy it with serial number included(we don't have network licenses). So I did just that, but the problem is that at first launch it still asks the user to sign into or create an AutoDesk account. I do not want or need this. Is it possible to edit some configuration file so it does not require a sign in?

edit: we have standalone licenses.(multiple keys, one says "9 seats, subscription, single-user, License type Standalone")

Hello @Anonymous,

Stand-alone licenses with Single-user access are Named User-based. This means that each seat needs to be assigned to a specific user, who will sign into the software with his own credentials. Each user must connect to the internet every 30 days to validate his Autodesk ID. There's no possibility to edit the configuration to remove the Sign In requirement.

Find more about licensing options here.

If that is the case, what is the difference between setting up a serial number based deployment and an Autodesk ID based deployment, If you now need to use an Autodesk ID for both?

The sign in option is based on those who are issued a CLIC (cloud based) license through the e-store on certain single qty subscribed Autodesk product..  There's no serial # issued to those and they sign in for activation..  Serial # option can be related to a carried over perpetual license on an active maintenance plan or those who subscribe to a single user subscription and was issued a serial #.  Single user subscription is tied to a given Autodesk Account and must sign in.   Hope that answers your questions.
