Term has expired

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I am a hobbyist and use with a great pleasure Fusion 360 with a non commercial licence until a few days when "Terms has expired" appeared .I followed the procedure for registering again but it was unsuccessfull. I read the several reports about this issue in the forum and tried what was suggested in vain. After having uninstalled, re-installed, cleaned the cache,  moved on another computer I observed that the issue might come from my account.

I am blocked because I can't save any files on the cloud and I can't edit any DXF or STL files.

I should appreciate if you could help me. With my thanks.

Kind regards.

Jean-Jacques PONCIN.

I use the last version of Fusion 360 on a laptop with Windows 10.

Have you gone into manage.autodesk.com and ensure that you have a new Fusion 360 term?

Can you tell me what you're seeing when you go to save your Fusion 360 files?

When I try to save the upper left icon remains faded and open only the information square Save Ctrl+S  Save a design to a located location..., but it doesn't open the main saving panel with the name of the file and the location.

Too me it sounds like you are in off-line mode.

In the clock icon upper right, if you select it..  Is on-line mode toggled (on)?

Hello @Anonymous !

Happy to see you on Autodesk Community Forums.

I would suggest to raise a tech support case from your Autodesk Account

Hello ,
Thanks for your message. As I had no solution and I really needed Fusion
for millig parts for my own use, I subscribed a licence for one month and I
recovered Fusion in its full capacity.
I will switch back to a non commercial licence in one month with the hope
of everything will keep on working normally. If not, I will report my issue
to a tech support. It seemed to me that a personal licence (hobbyist)
couldn't get a technical support, except from the forum.

I am having the same issue.   I am a middle school stem teacher and have a full classroom of Inventor Pro licenses... but use fusion 360 at home to create lessons, projects, and print examples for kids.  Even with educator status, I can't get a version to work past the trial period.

Have you requested access to Fusion from: https://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/students-teachers-educators?mktvar004=668081&internalc=...

open it on my computer i still says trial expired. trying again... also: I
cannot find the first version to uninstall before reinstalling... checked
both program files and user files... not showing up.

If you go into manage.autodesk.com and all products and services do you see your correct Fusion 360 there?

Update:  Also if your teach Inventor at school, why are you using Fusion 360 to plan the class?

You never answered my question of going into manage.autodesk.com and all products/services..

Check that before you spend too much time with uninstalling/installing.

In my Manage products & downloads, I only see Render and Storage.  I have registered as an educator, and followed the prompt to download.   Still comes up trial expired.

I use fusion at home because our network at school cannot support cloud modeling.   I like to be up on the latest software, and can easily guide students in either program.
