I downloaded the student version of Revit 2020 before receiving my product key and serial number.

After my download, I received the necessary product licensing information. How/Where do I add in the

product key and serial number? The Autodesk system will only give me access to the trial version for

30 days.

When you start it you should have an option to activate it .... which then will give you the option to put in your serial number.

You can also go to the upper right corner and click on Manage Licenses and get to your licensing to activate it

Hi mdavis22569,

Thank you for your reply.
I did activate and added serial number. I also received an error message about template files.
It said the following: The path you have specified for the default family template files is invalid.
What is the easiest way to fix this error message?
Thanks,

I'm sorry I haven't replied earlier, it has been a busy week.

I tried your suggestions, but I'm still lost in the process. I don't see any 2020 content, only

years 2019 back to 2016. Should I use 2019 Templates and Families for 2020?

Thank you for your reply.

All the Template files downloaded but were missing the path. Once the path was connected, the error message

disappeared.
