Student version and Flex plan

I am wondering if buying tokens for Flex plan will remove me from student. There is no answer for this anywhere so i'm asking here to see if anyone knows.

your first question is why do you want to move from student to flex plan

second do you have the money it will cost over $1000 in tokens to use it frequently

if you want to use a non student license get maya indie

not moved, removed. I am wondering if buying tokens will be the same as buying the subscription, I dont know, it's never explain because it's a new thing. I dont know how you got 1000, the lowest plan is $300. This is way cheaper than the yearly plan that doesn't require me to always use it everyday.

im not sure if you know how the tokens work, say you use maya daily thats 6 tokens, you want to buy 100 tokens, you will get like 16 days of use for $300, next is 500 tokens $1500

get maya indie its $400 and its the exact same but you can only make 100k if you use it for business

I know but that's not the question, i just want to know what happens to the license of the student version.

This is not a question about subscription version.

This is not a question about my student license ending, it will not end this year.

This is not a question about other softwares or updates.

I hope i made this very clear, I want answers on what happens when I buy tokens during student license time.

licenses are attached to email, student id, if you register on a different email account for maya it will be associated with that account,

This has nothing to do with my account or any activity that maybe questionable. If you do not know, then please stop assuming. This is about licensing, only the licensing and the contract that Autodesk doesn't show to people when trying to find answers to Flex.

you have maya license for a student you want to know if you can buy tokens to use for maya and will that remove your student,

ive been trying to answer that, and its just going over your head,

your copy of maya right now that you are using is for student, tied to your email, if you get another email and buy tokens you can use maya on that account,

As @Ιάσονας mentioned, your educational entitlement is a separate identifier on your account, so other licenses won't affect your student status. However, since your educational entitlement only allows for non-commercial work and flex licensing is for commercial licenses, this would breach the terms of use if you worked commercially on your student account.

@Ιάσονας's suggestion of having a separate account for commercial work is correct as this ensures your education license is separate to your commercial license. I would also recommend keeping your education files separate as files created under an educational license remain bound by the terms of use.
