LT2024 white pop up box locks program when opening

I have upgraded from LT2010 to LT2024 using a monthly Autodesk subscription, and I have paid two monthly installments now. I bought the 2010 legitimately with a license in 2009 and it's served me very well for 14 years! An upgrade from my disk hard drive to SSD prompted some kind of licensing issue, my LT stopped working. I used the Autodesk website to install 2024 and it will not open. I'm two months in now with no CAD.

The installation goes fine, and when opening for a second it appears successful migration has taken place from 2010.

Then a white box pops up on the screen and locks the program. It pings whenever I click the mouse anywhere on the screen so I can't log in. It takes a shutdown with the Task Manager to close the program.

I upgraded the motherboard and processor in the last month, thinking that may be the problem as the previous motherboard was 15 years old (64bit) and was not compatible with Windows 11. Now I've got this amazing PC in a 15 year old case.

I'm already two month subscription in and have no CAD. Furthermore I have clients chewing at me for drawings (I've been working in architecture using AutoCAD since the '90's) and it's beginning to become an issue. I'm almost tempted to uninstall and try Bently Microstation instead, as I can use that too. If I have to buy new software I don't mind, if it works.

I'm becoming alarmed that what I consider the best software ever written has self destructed on me. I can't make sense of it online. I'm an expert Autocad expert user (full certificate City & Guilds 4531, back in the 90's), but not having a background in any kind of support I just can't fix this.

I could really use some help, and fairly quickly. Contacting Autodesk support for help is not working - I asked for help, someone was assigned to assist, they said it's a licensing issue and they just dropped me, even though they're taking my money.

If you know what to do, please help!

So just a white box with nothing in it and whole computer locks ?

try some of these solutions from autodesk

https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/AutoCAD-freezes-af...

Also after trying AutoCAD Reset choose don’t migrate any settings and see if that makes any difference

Can you post a screenshot of that white box?

And if possible, open Taskmanager, click the little arrow prefixing AutoCAD and make a screenshot of that as well.
