Sudenly I am getting this error message when I try to start any AutoCAD products.

The security system (softlock licence manager)

is not functioning or is improperly installed.

This happens with all products in Infrastructure Design Suite Premium 2014.

None will start.

Has anyone come across this before?

Tried a complete install of 2015 yesterday and got all products working but today the error message is back

Win 7 64 bit PC.

Further to my initial post I meant to add that I am running a Network Licence versiion of IDS and not stand alone licence.

No other users who access the same Licence Manager are experiencing the same issue.

Any clues?

Thanks.

Solution:

Issue was with productinformation.pit file.

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/installation-licensing/what-is-the-productinformation-pit-file-amp/m-p...

This file was missing from c:\programdata\autodesk\adlm

A copy of the file from another PC with the same products installed was copied over to my PC and the PC re-started.
