Revit Educators

Good afternoon I'm an educator and I was looking for an answer for Autodesk and the customer service representatives couldn't answer my question on Revit 2023 or AutoCAD 2023 subscriptions I notice that the NEW subscription is now reduced from one (1) year subscription for students/instructors to 7-8 months. The customer service rep said they don't control the subscription timeline.

I downloaded my educational version for my college, last week for Revit 2023 and it states it will expire February 2023.

Does anyone know why Autodesk trimmed it back for students and educators?

I assume you just have to renew it more often. Annoying, but not the end of the world. I was able to renew my student subscription every year as long as I was a student.
