Revit 2018 Licensing System Error 2

I recently got a Licensing System Error 2 when launching Revit 2018. My 2017 and 2019 work just fine. I've followed the instructions for completely removing Revit 2018 and all associated files. After downloading and re-installing I get the same error. I've been using 2018 for years, so not sure what changed. Revit 2018 will work as unregistered.

I'm on a Windows 10 machine.

I've tried fixes of the same error for 2017 and 2019, but nothing seems to work.

I did find that.  And tried to implement the 2018 version of the fix (it was for 2017, 2019).  But it didn't change anything after re-install.

At this point I have followed the complete un-install instructions for revit 2018.  I changed up the downloader to browser to see if I got a different set of files from the last time.  Ran the installer, hit launch and got the same Licensing System Error 2 when choosing sign in.  The program will not even let me run an unregistered version any longer as the "Run" button is grayed out.

I opened Revit 2017 and 2019 and it did a license check and sent me an email thanking me for registering?  So something has changed.  I'm at a loss of what to do next.

I realize this is an older post, but if anyone else has the issue, I found I had LogMeIn installed an creating issues.  See here:  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-...

Nothing worked for me until I followed these instructions, then I was able to sign into my license again (had to reinstall licensing service.)
